We’ve had a lot of updates in the Studio this month so we wanted to do a quick recap of all the upcoming changes in case you missed one of our previous correspondences. Check out below for the latest on all things GLOW. 😉
Our Hours Are Changing—Beginning in June, our Hours of Operation will be:
SUNDAY: closed THURSDAY: 9am-7pm
MODAY: closed FRIDAY: 9am-7pm
TUESDAY: 9am-7pm SATURDAY: 9am-4pm
WEDNESDAY: 9am-7pm
If you currently have an appointment on a Monday someone will be reaching out to reschedule your appointment, or you can reschedule at your own convenience by calling us at (703)-723-0900 or using our mobile app.
We’re Moving to One Price Point:
After a lot of consideration, we will be eliminating the tiered pricing for our stylists beginning June 1st. This decision has been based on the longevity of our stylist's careers, their continued education, and skill level. Although we may bring on junior stylists in the future, we believe in streamlining our approach to provide more consistent quality of service and experience. This will not affect the pricing of any appointments that have already been scheduled, however any newly booked appointments may reflect this change.

We have made the decision to eliminate GLOWcurl services as a separate subset of our GLOWhair department:
As part of our transition to universal pricing for our team, and to ensure consistency and value in our services, we’ve made the difficult decision to eliminate the GLOWcurl subset. We intend to include all hair textures and individuals within our regular service menu pricing and will refer — when required or upon request — to specialists within our business community for services beyond our expertise.*

It is with a mixture of sadness and gratitude that we announce the departure of our talented GLOWcurl hairstylist, Alexa Zagorites. She has been an integral part of our GLOW family for many years, and we appreciate the loyalty and trust built she with each and every one of you, and we are grateful for the time she spent with us. *The expertise and knowledge Alexa leaves with us will help us continue to still provide thoughtful service to this community under our standard service pricing. As an expert in the curly lifestyle and all curl textures, Alexa will be able to grow and continue to provide specialized service to those who need it within the curl community. We will continue to work together and collaborate for best outcomes personally and professionally. It is important to know we chose different paths with intention, love and appreciation for the time we have spent together.
Rest assured that your appointment schedule will not be affected and all currently scheduled appointments will seamlessly transition with Alexa to her new location starting June 10th.
