A letter from the owner - Kristen Wilhelm

The secret to change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new.

-Socrates

AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER, I HAVE COME TO REALIZE THAT CHANGE IS INEVITABLE IN THE JOURNEY OF GROWTH. WHEN I FIRST STARTED MY BUSINESS, I HAD A CLEAR IDEA OF WHAT I WANTED TO ACHIEVE AND HOW I PLANNED TO DO IT. HOWEVER, AS I ENCOUNTERED DIFFERENT CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES, I REALIZED THAT I NEEDED TO ADAPT MY APPROACH TO KEEP UP WITH THE CHANGING TIMES.

I HAVE LEARNED THAT GROWTH IS NOT JUST ABOUT INCREASING REVENUE OR EXPANDING THE BUSINESS, BUT ALSO ABOUT CONSTANTLY EVOLVING AND IMPROVING. THIS MEANS BEING OPEN TO NEW IDEAS, TAKING CALCULATED RISKS, AND EMBRACING CHANGE.

AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF GROWTH FOR ME HAS BEEN LEARNING FROM PAST MISTAKES AND FAILURES. WHILE IT CAN BE DISHEARTENING TO EXPERIENCE SETBACKS, I HAVE FOUND THAT THEY OFTEN PROVIDE VALUABLE INSIGHTS AND LESSONS THAT HELP ME IMPROVE MY BUSINESS PRACTICES.

STEPPING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE HAS NOT BEEN EASY, BUT I HAVE FOUND THAT THE REWARDS OF GROWTH FAR OUTWEIGH THE RISKS. THAT SAID, I CAN'T WAIT TO DIVE IN HEAD-FIRST TO THE NEXT CHAPTER IN THIS STORY CALLED GLOW.

With so much love,
